【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoverssteelplatesproducedbythethermo-mechanicalcontrolprocess(TMCP).Theplatesareintendedprimarilyforuseinweldedpressurevessels.1.2TheTMCPmethodconsistsofrolling-reductionandcoolingratecontrolsthatresultinmechanicalpropertiesinthefinishedplatethatareequivalenttothoseattainedusingconventionalrollingandheattreatingprocesses,whichentailreheatingafterrolling.AdescriptionoftheTMCPmethodisgiveninAppendixX1.1.3DuetotheinherentcharacteristicsoftheTMCPmethod,theplatescannotbeformedatelevatedtemperatureswithoutsustainingsignificantlossesinstrengthandtoughness.Theplatesmaybeformedandpost-weldheat-treatedattemperaturesnotexceeding1200x00B0;F[650x00B0;C],providingtherequirementsof6.1aremet.1.4Themaximumpermittednominalthicknessofplatesfurnishedtothisspecificationis4in.[100mm]forGradesA,B,andC;and1.5in.[40mm]forGradesD,E,andF.1.5Thevaluesstatedineitherinch-poundunitsorSIunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Withinthetext,theSIunitsareshowninbrackets.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemarenotexactequivalents.Therefore,eachsystemmustbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnonconformancewiththisspecification.
