本标准规定了马氏体类和奥氏体类不锈钢医用器械和牙科手持器械的耐腐蚀性能试验方法。本标准适用于马氏体类不锈钢医用器械（如剪、钳、镊等器械）、奥氏体类不锈钢医用器械（如注射针、针灸针、不锈钢宫内节育器、牙用不锈钢丝等），也适用于制造奥氏体类不锈钢医用器械的材料。本标准不适用于马氏体类、奥氏体类不锈钢外科植入物。
