【摘要】:1ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesamethodofsamplingaconsignmentofinstantcoffee,shippedintenunitsormore,forthepurposeofexaminationtodeterminewhethertheconsignmentcomplieswithacontractspecification.Thecasesusedhaveinnerliningsofmoisture-resistantmaterialhermeticallysealedbecauseofthehygroscopicnatureofinstantcoffee,andareinunitsgreaterthan10kgnetmass,typicallyupto50kg.Thismethodisalsoapplicabletounitsofmorethan50kg,usuallynamedasbigbagsorsupersacks.Thecasesaregenerallymadeofcardboardofappropriatestrengthandthebigbagsaremadeofsuitableplasticmaterial.2Themethodmayalsobeusedfortheselectionandpreparationofasufficientlyrepresentativesampleoftheconsignment,intendeda)toserveasabasisforanofferforsale,b)forexaminationtoverifythattheinstantcoffeetobeofferedforsalesatisfiestheproducer'ssalesspecification,c)forexaminationtodetermineoneormoreofthecharacteristicsoftheinstantcoffeefortechnical,commercial,administrativeandarbitrationpurposes,andd)forretentionasareferencesampleforuse,ifrequired,inlitigation.Inpractice,consignmentsofinstantcoffeeareoftenblendedinuseandbeforepacking.3ThisInternationalStandardisapplicabletoalltypesofinstantcoffee,asdefinedinISO3509,containedinalltypesofunitswithliners,withtheexceptionstatedin1.4.4Forbulkdensityandparticlesize,thisInternationalStandardappliestospray-driedpowderandfreeze-driedinstantcoffeesonly,asdefinedinISO3509,duetotheintrinsicfragilityofparticlesofagglomeratedinstantcoffee,whichleadstogreaterbreakdownandheadspaceinthefinalpackedunitsfortheconsumer.

【摘要】:Thistestmethodmaybeusedasapreliminaryorscreeningtesttoevaluatetherelativeeffectivenessofanumberofdifferentmaterialsbeingconsideredforusetopreventexcessiveexpansionduetoalkali-silicareaction.Thistestmethodmayalsobeusedtoevaluatematerialsproposedforuseonaparticularjobtopreventexcessiveexpansionduetoalkali-silicareaction,bytestinginthequantityandincombinationwiththecementorcementstobeusedonthejob.Thistestmethoddoesnotassessthesuitabilityofpozzolansorslagforuseinconcrete.ThesematerialsshouldcomplywithSpecificationC618,SpecificationC989orSpecificationC1240.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftheeffectivenessofpozzolansorslaginpreventingtheexcessiveexpansioncausedbyreactionbetweenaggregatesandalkaliesinportlandcementmixtures.Theevaluationisbasedontheexpansiondevelopedinmortarbarsbyacombinationofportlandcementandapozzolanorslag,madewithreactiveaggregates(borosilicateglass),duringstorageunderprescribedconditionsoftest.1.2Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
