【摘要】:ThisStandardisintendedtocoverthecompletegeneralanddimensionaldataforthevarioustypesofinchseriessquareandhexnutsrecognizedasAmericanNationalStandard.Alsoincludedareappendicescoveringgagingofslotsinslottednuts,wrenchopeningsfornuts,andformulasonwhichdimensionaldataarebased.Itshouldbeunderstood,however,thatwherequestionsariseconcerningacceptanceofproduct,thedimensionsintheTablesshallgovernoverrecalculationbyformula.TheinclusionofdimensionaldatainthisStandardisnotintendedtoimplythatalloftheproductsdescribedhereinarestockproductionsizes.Consumersarerequestedtoconsultwithmanufacturersconcerninglistsofstockproductionsizes.
