【摘要】:ThisStandardcoversprocessheatingsystemsthataredefinedasagroup(oraset,orcombination)ofheatingequipmentusedforheatingmaterialsintheproductionofgoodsinanindustrialplant.Thesesystems,commonlyreferredtousingtermssuchasfurnaces,melters,ovens,andheaters,useheatsourcessuchasfuels,electricity,steamorotherfluidstosupplytherequiredheat.ThisStandardsetstherequirementsforconductingandreportingtheresultsofaprocessheatingenergyassessment(hereafterreferredtoasan"assessment")thatconsiderstheentiresystem,fromenergyinputstotheworkperformedastheresultoftheseinputs.Anassessmentmeetingthisstandardneednotaddresseachindividualsystemcomponentorspecificsystemwithinanindustrialfacilitywithequalweight;however,itshallbesufficientlycomprehensivetoidentifythemajorenergyefficiencyopportunitiesforimprovingtheoverallenergyperformanceofthesystem.ThisStandardisdesignedtobeappliedprimarilyatindustrialfacilities,butmanyoftheconceptscanbeusedinotherfacilitiessuchasthoseintheinstitutionalandcommercialsectors.
