【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversmortarsforuseintheconstructionofnon-reinforcedandreinforcedunitmasonrystructures.Fourtypesofmortararecoveredineachoftwoalternativespecifications:(1)proportionspecificationsand(2)propertyspecifications.Note18212;Whenthepropertyspecificationisusedtoqualifymasonrymortars,thetestingagencyperformingthetestmethodsshouldbeevaluatedinaccordancewithPracticeC1093.1.2Theproportionorpropertyspecificationsshallgovernasspecified.1.3Whenneitherproportionorpropertyspecificationsarespecified,theproportionspecificationsshallgovern,unlessdataarepresentedtoandacceptedbythespecifiertoshowthatmortarmeetstherequirementsofthepropertyspecifications.1.4Thetextofthisspecificationreferencesnotesandfootnoteswhichprovideexplanatorymaterial.Thesenotesandfootnotes(excludingthoseintablesandfigures)shallnotbeconsideredasrequirementsofthestandard.1.5ThetermsusedinthisspecificationareidentifiedinTerminologiesC1180andC1232.1.6Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.7Thefollowingsafetyhazardscaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodssectionofthisspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
