适用范围
本标准规定了用气相色谱法测定1,2,4-三甲基苯（偏三甲苯）的纯度及烃类杂质含量的方法。
本标准适用于测定纯度不低于98%（质量分数），烃类杂质含量不低于0.001%（质量分数）的偏三甲苯的测定。

【摘要】:ThispracticecoverstheapplicationoftheInternationalSystemofUnits(abbreviatedSI)withinthefieldofpulp,paper,andpaperboard.TheSIunitshavebeenadoptedbyISO,ASTM,andTAPPIasthepreferredunitsforuseintheirstandardsandtestmethods.DetailsofSIaregiveninvariouspartsofISOStandards31and1000,andinASTMPracticeE380.Applicationofthisinformationisnotalwayseasy,assomepropertiescannotatthistimebeexpressedinSI,somecanbeexpressedinvariousunitsallwithinSI,andvariousmultiplescanbeused.Suchvariationcanleadtoconfusioninreportingtestresultsandinquotingvaluesforproperties.Inordertoovercomesuchproblemswithinthepulp,paper,andpaperboardfield,ISO/TC6hasrecommendedappropriateunitsinISOStandard5651.Theserecommendationsarereproducedinthispractice,togetherwithotherinformationandrecommendations.
