【摘要】:1.1ThispartofISO22088specifiesaballorpinimpressionmethodforthedeterminationoftheenvironmentalstresscracking(ESC)behaviourofplasticsbymeansofaconstant-straintest.1.2Themethodisapplicabletofinishedproductsandtotestspecimenspreparedbymouldingand/ormachining,andcanbeusedfortheassessmentoftheESCbehaviourofaplasticproductormaterialexposedtodifferentenvironments,aswellasforthedeterminationoftheESCbehaviourofdifferentplasticsmaterialsexposedtoaspecificenvironment.NOTEAlternativemethodsforthedeterminationofenvironmentalstresscrackingbymeansofaconstant-straintestarespecifiedinISO22088-3andISO22088-5.Amethodforthedeterminationofenvironmentalstresscrackingbymeansofaconstant-stresstestisspecifiedinISO22088-2.1.3TheballandpinimpressionmethodsarebothquickandsensitiveproceduresforassessingtheESCbehaviourofplastics.Themethodsarewellsuitedforamorphousplastics.Theyarelessappropriateformaterialsdisplayingapronouncedtendencyforcreepand/orstressrelaxation,i.e.forsemi-crystallinematerials.Ifsemi-crystallinematerialsaretested,pinsaremoreappropriatethanballs.1.4TheballimpressionmethodisusefulforassessingtheprincipalESCbehaviourofthematerial/chemicalcombinationunderconsideration.Itislessinfluencedbythenear-surfaceorientationstateofthespecimensthanthepinimpressionmethodandthemethodsintheotherpartsofthisInternationalStandard,wherethechemicalattacksonlytheoriginalsurfaceofthematerial.This,dependingonthemannerofspecimenpreparation,mayshowaconsiderabledegreeoforientation.1.5Thepinimpressionmethodisusefulfortestingspecimensofsmallthicknessandfinishedparts.
