【摘要】:1.1ThisStandardcoversvitreousandnon-vitreouschinaplumbingfixturesandspecifiesrequirementsformaterials,construction,performance,testing,andmarkings.ThisStandard’sperformancerequirementsandtestproceduresapplytoalltypesofwaterclosetsandurinalsthatdischargeintogravitydrainagesystemsinpermanentbuildingsandstructures,independentofoccupancy.1.2ThisStandardcoversthefollowingplumbingfixtures:(a)bathtubs;(b)bidets;(c)drinkingfountains;(d)fixturesforinstitutionalapplications;(e)lavatories;(f)showerbases;(g)sinks:(i)laboratorysinks;(ii)laundrysinks;(iii)servicesinks;and(iv)utilitysinks;(h)urinals;and(i)waterclosets;1.3InthisStandard,“shall”isusedtoexpressarequirement,i.e.,aprovisionthattheuserisobligedtosatisfyinordertocomplywiththestandard;“should”isusedtoexpressarecommendationorthatwhichisadvisedbutnotrequired;“may”isusedtoexpressanoptionorthatwhichispermissiblewithinthelimitsofthestandard;and“can”isusedtoexpresspossibilityorcapability.Notesaccompanyingclausesdonotincluderequirementsoralternativerequirements;thepurposeofanoteaccompanyingaclauseistoseparatefromthetextexplanatoryorinformativematerial.Notestotablesandfiguresareconsideredpartofthetableorfigureandmaybewrittenasrequirements.Annexesaredesignatednormative(mandatory)orinformative(non-mandatory)todefinetheirapplication.1.4SIunitsaretheunitsofrecordinCanada.InthisStandard,theyard/poundunitsareshowninparentheses.Thevaluesstatedineachmeasurementsystemareequivalentinapplication;however,eachsystemistobeusedindependently.Combiningvaluesfromthetwomeasurementsystemscanresultinnon-conformancewiththisStandard.AllreferencestogallonsaretoU.S.gallons.ForinformationontheunitconversioncriteriausedinthisStandard,seeAnnexB.
